Episode 1340

Laura also arrives at Lake Arrowhead. The sheriff manages to locate Santana in a cabin not far from the hotel. She joins Gina finally and admits causing problems. Ethan decides not to do anything about the situation. Santana says goodbye to Brandon, before returning to the psychiatric hospital. Eden and Cruz arrive in Santa Barbara and learn that the whole family is in a warehouse near the railway station. Kelly tells her parents that Eden and Cruz were killed by Tonell. Suddenly, Cruz appears and threatens Tonell with his weapon. Craig still holds Kelly as a hostage, and makes Cruz release Tonell. Tonell goes on the boat with Craig, Robert and Kelly, having asked that the Capwells give him all his load of plutonium. Eden decides to meet Robert in secret, who explains to her that he has tried to help them from the beginning. Mason fabricates fake gold bars and, with C.C., they undertake an exchange in the warehouse. But Julia overturns one of the wrong bars and Tonell discovers that he is being deceived. Robert releases Kelly from her ties. She runs away, but is caught by Tonell. Robert and Craig fight, and a gunshot blares. Robert collapses down. Eden throws herself by his side...

It will be necessary to wait for episode 1758 before seeing Santana Andrade again in the series, played by Wanda DeJesus.

Episode 1341

Robert is driven to the hospital in a critical state. Vic Boswell questions Eden about what happened there, but she refuses to answer him. Cruz realises that Robert tried to help them from the beginning. But he still criticises Eden for feeling love for him. At Robert's home, Tonell finds Sasha writing a goodbye letter to Mason. Having discovered that she betrayed him, he learns now that she was Mason's mistress in Palm Springs. He offers a deal to Mason: he and the load of plutonium for Kelly and Sasha. Mason postpones C.C. to undertake the exchange. Kelly is released and Mason goes to see Tonell. Tonell trusses him up with Sasha. Sasha confesses to Mason that she loves him, even if she knows that they have no future together. Cruz goes to Robert's and exchanges gunshots with Tonell, Craig and their men. Julia and C.C. run up and find Sasha and Mason safe and sound. Cruz follows Tonell to the beach. Tonell threatens to throw a grenade on the load of plutonium...

It will be necessary to wait for episode 1376 before seeing Craig Hunt again.

Episode 1342

Cruz manages to negotiate with Tonell and recovers the grenade. But Tonell takes out a weapon from his pocket and threatens to pull it on Cruz. Cruz reacts, but it is the weapon of another man that kills Tonell. By telephone, the shooter informs a woman in black that he did his work. In the hospital, Robert has heart failure. He is revived and transported to the operating theatre. Kelly learns from Sophia that Eden is in the hospital with Robert. She finds her sister there. Sasha recovers the letter which she had written for Mason and burns it in Julia's chimney. Julia offers her to remain living at home with her and Mason. Cruz goes home back alone. He finds his father and Chip. In Michael's absence, Greta keeps the baby alone for the first time. She calls her Grace. Eden goes back home and phones the hospital immediately for news of Robert. The operation went well and he comes out of the operating room. But Eden did not see that Cruz was next to her at the time of her phone call...

First reappearance of Augusta Lockridge since episode 1206, for the moment her face under a veil.

Episode 1343

In the hospital, C.C. asks Robert to be held away from Eden and Kelly. Ethan tells Cruz that the bullet which killed Tonell did not come from his gun. He then offers him to return to the police force and to lead the investigation into Tonell's death. Cruz questions Robert, then Sasha to find other possible enemies of Tonell who would have wanted his death. His widow, with a black veil, seems to be the woman who killed him. Sasha and Robert are called to Las Vegas for the reading of Tonell's will. Julia lets Mason accompany Sasha there. Cruz still does not manage to face up to Eden's feelings for Robert. Eden fears for their future...

Episode 1344

Julia negotiates with social welfare so that Grace could stay with Greta and Michael until her mother comes back. Greta and Michael are delighted to keep the baby for two additional weeks. Laura stripteases for Ethan in his office and they make love. In Topsy Turvy's, Cruz notices Craig's presence. He threatens him with his weapon, until Craig swears that he had nothing to do with Tonell's death. Ethan arrives to tranquilize Cruz and to release Craig. Gina tells Mack that someone is going to arrive, when suddenly their mother makes her appearance in the Lockridge residence. In Las Vegas, Anthony Tonell's body of is displayed before the reading of his will. C.C. hopes he can recover the firms. His widow, still veiled, slaps Sasha in front of the guests. She hides the video will of Tonell and views the tape in a room out of the way. Tonell leaves her not enough property, leaving the firms to Robert Barr. She asks her henchman to take care of Robert. As Robert is still hospitalised in Santa Barbara, she brings forward the reading of the will in two weeks. Cruz searches Tonell's flat and finds his marriage contract. Dressed up as a server, Dante takes pictures of the guests. He explains to Cruz that they are all mafia. Back in Santa Barbara, Cruz thinks that it was his widow who killed Tonell...

Episode 1345

While she did not come back at night, Eden asks Cruz to join her for the Thanksgiving dinner at her parents. Cruz ends up accepting. C.C. invites Sasha to join them. Kelly asks Sasha to prove to be discreet with Julia. Gina invites Laura and Ethan to have dinner, together with Bunny. Phyllis, Gina and Mack's mother, does not cease alluding to competitions between Gina and Laura for boys when they were young. The Thanksgiving dinner begins at the Capwell place. At the time of entrees, Eden starts to cry and leaves the table. Cruz follows her. Eden swears that she has never deceived him and that she has never even wanted it. But Cruz explains to her that he does not want to share her feelings that she feels for him with another man. Kelly goes to the hospital to see Robert. The man that was by Tonell's window prowls in corridors. At home, Eden and Cruz squeeze up in the arms of one another...

Episode 1346

An armed man bursts in the Community centre to steal the money from the Thanksgiving holiday. Michael asks him to let Greta leave. Phyllis listens to Laura speaking about Michael and, suspicious, she decides to go to the Community centre to meet him. On the way she hides a bag of presents from a fake Santa, who is drunk in a bar. Cruz releases Michael and arrests the thief. Sasha asks Mason if he is interested in her or by the role which she can again play in Tonell's inheritance. She kisses him and decides to leave Julia's home. Mason catches her in the rain. On her return, Julia thinks they are soaked in the middle of the living room. She makes Mason understand that she is not fooled by their reports. Eden writes a goodbye letter to Robert, which she gives to Kelly. Cruz surprises Kelly with the letter and gets worked up. A male nurse explains to Robert that he received the visit from a man with prosthesis in one of his arms. Robert understands that it is a henchman who bears a grudge against his life. He leaves his room, and Kelly thinks he is half collapsed in a corridor of the hospital. Cruz goes back home and announces to Eden that he is moving out...

Episode 1347

Cruz leaves his home with his suitcase. He adds to Eden that he saw the letter which she wrote to Robert. Kelly helps Robert leave the hospital and takes him to the guest house on the Capwell property. Phyllis invites herself to Laura and Ethan's table in the Orient Express. She tells them harebrained stories, before establishing herself as a substitute for Ethan's secretary who has just left. Gina criticises her mother for her intrusive side. She tells her that she learnt that the girl whom she had given up at birth is alive and that she met her, alluding to Lily. Eden accuses Kelly of having read her letter to Robert. She argues and Eden slaps her sister. Cruz rents a neighbouring room to Ric. In the bar, he fights with a client over billiards. A policeman fits between them, and Cruz hits him. Eden goes to the police station so that she can clear up opinions concerning Robert. Joined by Ric, she suddenly sees Cruz entering the cell...

Episode 1348

Vic Boswell questions Cruz, who confesses to have hit a policeman in succession. However, Vic cuts him loose. Greta and Michael make love. Kelly arrives at Michael's to ask him for his father's assistance to treat Robert. Greta offers to come and help him. She gives Robert a medicine that is supposed to cure him, but can also cause him hallucinations. Julia and Mason argue about Sasha's presence at home. Sasha hears them and, understanding that she is not welcome anymore, decides to leave. C.C. tells Mason that he learnt that it was Tonell's widow who was at the origin of the takeover of the Capwell Firms. Mason questions Sasha about this mysterious woman, but learns only that she would be the age of his mother. Mason persuades himself that Tonell's widow is Pamela. Eden tells Julia that Cruz left her. Cruz questions Kelly about Robert's disappearance from the hospital. Kelly lies by saying that she knows nothing. Cruz installs a listening device on Eden's telephone to see if she communicates with Robert. Eden surprises him. Kelly stretches out on the bed with Robert. They kiss each other...

Episode 1349

Julia asks Mack to spy on Sasha and on Mason. Mason explains to his father that he suspects Pamela of being Anthony Tonell's widow. He says that he has no more news since she left the asylum eight months ago. He finds an old photo of his mother and the watch belonging to Sasha, but he can be sure only it is about Tonell's woman. With Julia, Mason decides to go to Tonell's villa in Las Vegas. They enter it by breaking in and are welcomed by two Dobermans. Mason goes back into the bedroom and believes he sees his mother there. But he is in fact in front of Augusta! Cruz records the call which Robert makes to Eden at home. But Eden refuses to ask Robert where he is. Eden realises suddenly that in the background while talking to Robert she heard the ring of the clock which she had given to her father upon her return from Paris. She rushes to the guest house on the Capwell property and finds Robert. She helps him to stand up and runs away with him. C.C. discovers that Kelly knows where Robert is hiding. Cruz recognises the ring of the clock and goes to the Capwells. But with Kelly, they find the guest house empty...
