Episode 1280

In the chapel, Michael phones Ethan so that he goes there to search for his wife. Ethan again feels like he cannot trust Laura anymore. In spite of his insistence, Heather refuses for Scott to participate with her in her classes for natural childbirth. She asks her brother to accompany her there. On board of Robert's yacht, Eden removes the tape from Cruz's recorder to erase her discussion with Robert. But she continues having flash backs of their first meetings on this island where they kissed each other. Robert's boss, Anthony, arrives in a helicopter and goes up on the boat. Robert asks him to leave him alone with Eden so he leaves again. Eden offers Cruz to go back with Robert to question him about this visit. But as soon as Robert discusses the past together again, she asks him to bring them back to Santa Barbara, fearing that Cruz has heard them this time. Back at home, Cruz asks Eden to be honest with him and to tell him what she is hiding about Robert...

Episode 1281

Sophia learns that Klein does not follow up his contract, because he did not receive the photos of the models which she had promised him. She goes to see Gina, persuaded that she sabotaged the sale. Kelly goes to Ric's hotel room who is absent and finds the photos in a drawer. On his return, she questions him and makes him swear that he is not involved with Gina. As Ric complies, she tells him that she now knows what is held on this subject. Eden refuses to answer Cruz's questions. She finds Robert who helps her once again recollect her lost memories. At that time Eden had accepted as a challenge and for her love for Robert to hide the Ondine statue which was displayed in a museum. Eden asks him why, if she was indeed in love with him, they ended up parting. Robert prefers waiting for her to remember this by herself. Meanwhile, Cruz goes to Robert's office to search it...

Episode 1282

Arthur invites Sophia to have dinner and asks her to accompany him to a charity ball organised by the candidate for the city council Jerry Calhoun. Michael discovers that a property promoter intends to demolish his old chapel to construct trade and parking there. He solicits Jerry Calhoun to buy back the chapel and to make a Community centre for the disadvantaged families of the district. Robert discovers that the Ondine statue has disappeared from his office. He phones Cruz, persuaded that he is the thief. With Rafael, Cruz tries to find out who fabricated the statue. He learns that it was stolen from a museum on the island of Las Sirenas ten years earlier. Craig informs Robert of Cruz's discoveries. Eden searches her home, suspecting that it is Cruz who hid Ondine. Cruz surprises her and throws the crystal statue on the floor to break it...

Episode 1283

Jerry Calhoun presents the woman to Michael who manages her charitable writings and who is going to take care of the rehabilitation of his old chapel: it is Laura. Jerry pushes Ethan to imagine the prosecutor's post. But Ethan refuses, fearing being put under the spotlight. Michael goes to think and sees Celeste, who has become a waitress in a shady bar. He offers her to come to work with him in the new centre which he intends to create. Emily gets a job as a waitress in the Country-club. But she feels discomfort with the clairvoyant Greg, Sophia and C.C. are sitting with. Facing distraught Cruz, Eden refuses to speak about Robert and asks to keep this part of her life a secret. Cruz decides to leave for Las Sirenas. He chooses to say nothing about it to Eden. Eden questions Vic Boswell on the telephone, who tells her that Cruz left for an island. Arriving at Las Sirenas, Cruz discovers that his father beat him there. Craig also is already there, without them knowing it. By questioning a taxi driver, Cruz learns that the Ondine statue was accomplished in the old casino of the island. He goes there with Rafael. But they find themselves stopped by a policeman...

Episode 1284

The high society of Santa Barbara meets in a party which Jerry Calhoun organises in the Country-club to raise funds for his campaign. Heather is accosted by a man, before discovering that it is Brian Jeffries, Scott's lawyer. He assures her that it is only a coincidence and announces that he decided to cancel his action in justice, hoping to be able to still save the couple. Gina gets closer to Jerry and puts a dress she made in the auction. Laura who is drunk discovers that Gina and she were friends at high school in Atlantic City in the past. In front of the card tables, Eden remembers having helped Robert to cheat in poker in Las Sirenas, remembering giving signs to reveal the cards of his opponents to him. Cruz and Rafael meet in prison. But Robert asks Craig to release them. By a turn of agility, Rafael manages to open the grid of their cell and Cruz goes back to the museum. He finds the taxi driver and his wife there who remember Eden but they call her "Rubia". They drive Cruz up to the home where she lived with Robert...

Episode 1285

At the party in the Country-club, Greg suddenly discovers that Emily is a waitress there. She is offended to have remained invisible in her opinion to him for so long. She also criticizes him for having heard him say he planned to follow his studies in Lyman, an establishment with a better reputation than Crestview. Gina informs Ethan that Laura collapsed in the toilets having drunk too much. She helps him take her back home. In Las Sirenas, Cruz discovers that the whole island was bought back by Barr Industries. He goes back to his cell with Rafael before the security guard walks them to the airport. Tombola begins in the Country-club. Heather wins Gina's dress, and Ric a fur coat that Kelly refuses to accept from him. But a power failure puts an end to the donations and Jerry Calhoun fears that not enough money has been raised for Michael's plans. Cruz enters at the time when Eden slaps Robert who had just kissed her. Cruz tells her that he was in Las Sirenas where he knows that she lived with Robert. He asks her if she is in love with him, and Eden does not answer...

Episode 1286

Laura tries once again to be reconciled with Ethan. After lunch with her new friend Gina, she goes to Crestview high school and discovers that she is going to be replaced as the principal. Cruz wakes up alone on the sofa in the living room. Eden did not return home and spent the night on the Capwell yacht. Encouraged by Kelly she constructs her letter of resignation to Robert. Robert finds her on the yacht and allows her to remember the circumstances of their separation. It is in fact at the time when Robert discovered that she was Capwell where their history ended. The pressure which C.C. put on Eden and Robert just sped things up. Cruz questions C.C. about Las Sirenas, and C.C. tells him about the holidays every summer which he spent with his children there. He tells him about a boyfriend who Eden had, with which she spoke about marriage. But C.C. reassures Cruz by telling him that he has never taken her seriously on this subject. Cruz comes back home and finds Eden. She ends up confessing to him that she was in love with Robert...

Episode 1287

A man gets out of a Porsche, enters Gina's and dives into her swimming pool in her absence. Brandon arrives and the man ends up being his uncle, Mack. Learning about the arrival of her brother, Gina comes back home hoping that he will not stay for a long time, this does not seem to be his intention. Scott announces to Julia that he abandons the idea of suing Heather. They are going to have dinner in the Country-club and Scott finds Heather dancing with Brian, assisting him with Julia. Scott proves to be jealous. Julia goes back to her office and pictures herself 18 years later, a lover of her job to such a point that she does not succeed in finding availability in her timetable to attend Samantha's marriage. Eden tells Cruz everything she remembers about her past with Robert. She then remembers the presence on the Capwell yacht of an employee of her father, Raul, who causes her some concern without knowing why. She wants to question Robert on this subject, but Cruz dissuades her from it. He offers to go back with him to Las Sirenas...

Episode 1288

Julia discovers that C.C. knows that Mason is well. But he swears not to know where he is, no more than Ted. Mack draws Brandon away from American football. He finds Julia at the beach bar, suffering from a sore ankle after her jog. He gives her a massage to relieve her. Gina returns the Armonti fashion designer, bored as he degrades all her ideas. Ric decides not to work for Gina anymore. He announces this to Kelly, in the hope of reconciling with her. Emily surprises Greg in full debate in the Capwell residence with the pretty and rich niece of Jerry Calhoun. To appease her fit of jealousy, Greg confesses that he loves her and invites her to go out to a party. Michael refuses Laura's assistance for new funds for his centre for young people. But Laura asks him to excuse her, as she excused him for Jamie's death. Gina receives a phone call from Ethan : Brandon and Mack have been arrested by the police and are at the police station...

This episode is the last to have been doubled in French and to have been broadcast in Quebec, on network TVA, on October 27 1995. The last scene of this episode was not aired in Quebec.

Episode 1289

Greg invites Emily to a very romantic date with a limousine, dinner at the Country-club and a night on the Capwell yacht where they make love. Mack explains to Gina and Ethan that the woman who accuses him of having stolen her Porsche is in fact his mistress, who proves to be married. He says that she gave him the car. But the woman repeats that she does not know Mack. During cross-examination, Ethan manages to exonerate Mack. Gina asks her brother to leave the city and never to come back. Robert offers Kelly to manage the Capwell hotel for him. Kelly accepts. Ric warns her against Robert. Eden and Cruz arrive at Las Sirenas. Whilst talking with the wife of the taxi driver, Eden remembers that Robert's name was Parisi. Cruz goes to a tavern and is surprised by his ancient jailer. He hits him to avoid him. With Eden, he goes to the home that she occupied ten years earlier with Robert. Eden points out impacts of bullets around the window. She remembers suddenly a gunfire in the course of which Robert was hurt...
