Mary confesses to Mason that, since her death, she has become his guardian angel. She encourages him to be reconciled with his father if he wants to earn his place in his turn in heaven. She tells him she knows Julia and Samantha measure all his love. That is why she urges him to go back on Earth to find them. Mason resolves then to leave Mary, not without having told her a very last time that he loves her. He then returns to his body, in his hospital bed. The change of heart rate of Mason alerts immediately Julia who had dozed off at his bed. Told by the hospital, Gina runs up to the room, while at the same instant, Bunny spots Lyle in the corridor. He succeeds in immobilising and stopping him. At the home in the desert, Sandra has Catherine's new vision, where she finally sees the face. She then speaks to Cruz of the guilt feelings which she feels after the death of her brother, Dave. A vision which she had badly interpreted indeed caused her brother to die in a train accident. Decided not to take this anymore, Celeste stands up to her father. Before she leaves, he gives her a box where he kept Scott's letters which he had filtered ten years earlier. Celeste ends up in tears, calling him a monster. At the private hospital, while she finally discovers the mail where Scott offers to marry her, Scott arrives and reads the letter aloud which he kept by heart. Both realise again that their common destiny was played on a lost letter. Celeste then thinks of Chelsea and suggests Scott meet their friends from high school Nancy and Bob Hutchinson, who were unable to have any children. A meeting is immediately organised between the couple and the little girl and it seems perfect. In the chapel, Michael asks God to help him define if his place is still within the Church. Thinking to carry misfortune to his mother due to her (many) missed marriages, Brandon decides to run away. He writes her a letter of goodbye and goes to Anisa offering her to run away with him. In front of a sudden lunar eclipse, Brandon embraces Anisa, while at the same time; Gina gives into the advances from Bunny and also embraces him. Meanwhile in the hospital, Mason finally wakes up from his coma, finding Julia by his side...

Mary DuVall will reappear a last time in the series at episode 1225, the face totally veiled.
Celeste talks for the first time about her two sisters, Lisa and Emily. She had until then mentioned only the existence of a brother.
Last episode broadcasted in France on TF6. 987 episodes are still unaired in France to this day.

Heather is jealous that it is Celeste who finds parents for baby Chelsea. Sandra accomplishes Catherine's photofit. At Cruz's, she has a new vision of the Adriana's carer. She sees Catherine as she goes to The Lair drinking next to T.J.. Brandon finally comes back to Gina, having spent the night on Anisa's balcony. Gina realises that she lost Sonny and asks Bunny to come back to live in the Lockridge residence once again. In his hospital bed, Mason tells Julia about the place where he hid documents stolen from the museum. He even offers C.C. to return part of the money which he had extorted from him. Finally, he makes a new proposal to Julia, who accepts on the spot...

Under Mason's influence, C.C. offers Julia and Scott to admit the responsibility in the cancer cases among his employees and to pay two million dollars to each of the victims. Scott is delighted with this victory. Augusta encourages Gina to make Sonny reappear so that Mason and his sister do not get married. Gina goes to the hospital and puts Mason to sleep to kidnap him. Carmen and Sophia unexpectedly arrive at Cruz's and find Sandra who opens the door to them. Cruz explains to them that she is a medium and that she is helping to find Adriana's trace. Sandra goes to The Lair and feels the presence of Catherine. T.J. is slightly interested in Catherine, having discovered that she is hiding big rolls of dollars in her bag. The night arrives, he follows her to a graveyard and loses her trace. When he finds her, Catherine falls in his arms; a knife was planted in her back. At Cruz's, Sandra has a feeling that Catherine has just died...

Gina imagines some ways to make Sonny back in two waking dreams : one that looks like a classic from the thirties, another in a remake of Frankenstein.

T.J. escapes, leaving Catherine lying on the ground, not without having withdrawn the knife from her body. Cruz learns that the body of a woman matching Catherine's description was found. Sandra identifies the carer. They go with the policeman Ramon to Catherine's hotel room, but find nothing there. Cruz goes to The Lair and questions T.J. about Catherine, but he pretends to have never seen her. Celeste borrows a formal dress with the aim of wearing it at the party which Scott and her organised to celebrate their victory against the Capwell Firms. Celeste makes Heather jealous once again. Gina places Mason in the cellar in the Lockridge residence, hoping that he wakes up as Sonny. But it is Mason who is facing Gina ready for everything to entice him. Augusta finds them and encourages Gina with her plan, to Mason's great displeasure. Cruz accepts a call from Eden in Paris. Sandra lets them converse, obviously embarrassed by the loving exchanges...

Celeste learns that her father was stopped by the police in a state of intoxication. She goes to the police station and is surprised to find Lisa and Emily there, her two sisters whom she had not seen for many years. Lisa proves to be distant, while the younger, Emily, is delighted to find her big sister. Celeste offers them to join her at the party with Scott which has begun in The Lair. Ted persuades his father to go there to confront his mistakes. C.C. enters in The Lair to distribute compensation cheques to the families of the victims. Gina tries by every possible means to make Mason come back to life as Sonny, in vain. Still handcuffed to the cellar, Mason asks Brandon to go to alert Julia. Brandon complies and Julia makes an appearance to throw herself on Gina. Scott goes to his father's grave. Celeste joins him there...

At his father's grave, Scott decides to use C.C.'s money to create a childhood assistance foundation. He announces the news to Celeste, before going back to The Lair and announcing it to Heather. When she learns that Celeste was with Scott at the graveyard, Heather does not manage to hide all her resentment towards Celeste anymore, she accuses her of doing everything to separate her from Scott. Lisa, Emily and Celeste go to the police station and get their father out of prison. He proves to be sceptical on their capacity to spend the night together in Celeste's flat without arguing. Julia manages to knock Gina out and to release Mason. They finally go back home, to find Samantha. Bunny tries to comfort Gina, who still does not accept to have lost Sonny forever. Sandra has a vision of the man present with Catherine at the time of her death. She sees him in The Lair. She goes there with Cruz and recognises T.J.. Back in the home, Sandra dreams of making love with Cruz...

Dr Sean Morrissey comes to meet Sandra, anxious of efforts she leads with her visions. Sophia welcomes him coldly, accusing him of creating false hope with Sandra in regards to Eden and Cruz. Cruz questions T.J. at the police station. T.J. admits having been at the place of Catherine's murder, but disclaims any responsibility. C.C. decides to leave business and to retire. Wanda finds this a good idea, comparing him with the hero of Citizen Kane. Ted, he, regrets his decision. Mason drives Julia up to a luxurious hotel room where he organised the most romantic evening, with dancing, dinner and a bubble bath. C.C. criticizes Cruz for trusting Sandra, but ends up accepting the decision to believe Adriana is alive. Cruz asks Sandra to concentrate on the instant which preceded Catherine's death. But she reaches only a vision: that of her and Cruz making love...

Celeste is forced to reimburse the shop for the luxurious dress which she had borrowed for the party with Scott, having worn it. But it is more than her rent. She discovers that Heather put a bonus in her wage to help her pay for the dress. Heather also began paying off a new luxury car for Scott. Having put her to sleep, Bunny takes Gina to a heavenly island in Polynesia. He tries by every possible means to entice her, before discovering that his uncle Mario watches him. Mario criticizes him for having stopped Lyle DeFranco and explains that he is going to have to marry Lyle's grand-daughter to avoid conflict between their families. Ted organises a party in the Country club for C.C.'s retirement. C.C. offers Mason to take back direction of Capwell Firms, but Mason tells him that he has not decided yet. Ted encourages his father to write his memo. Sandra is coldly welcomed by the family, except Julia who turns out to be an old friend from university in Arizona. Back after a holiday, Sandra has the vision of a shovel which buries her still alive...

Heather speaks about her relationship with Celeste to Jed, the worker who is working on her home. He offers her to help Celeste by making sure that she accepts a more interesting job proposal elsewhere rather than at the health centre. Mario Tagliatti sends wedding clothes to Bunny so that he marries Vanessa, the DeFranco's grand-daughter. Julia learns that she is displaced at a prosecutor's post and that a substitute was called to replace her. Mason finds Heather and asks her to certify that he suffers from dual personality to be able to cancel his marriage with Gina. For this, Heather needs to hypnotise him. Gina and Julia arrive at this instant and discover that Sonny came back to life. Cruz makes Sandra tell him her vision from the day before: Sandra tells him that she saw a shovel covering somebody with soil, and lets Cruz think that it is Adriana...

First reappearance of Jed since episode 1136, now played by Nathan Purdee.

Heather only has to count to three so that Mason regains the upper hand on Sonny. Gina finally agrees to cancel their marriage if Mason gets her lawful guardianship of Brandon. Julia admits in front of Mr Driscoll to have stolen documents relating to the affairs of Capwell Firms and abandons the post of the prosecutor's assistant which was offered to her. Mason then persuades her to open their own law firm, Capwell and Capwell. Celeste is taken in as a secretary for maintenance at a place with better pay. She hesitates to accept, when she understands that Scott is going to regret it at the health centre. She then decides to stay, despite Heather's distress. Michael explains to his bishop that, not managing to cope to have killed an eight-year-old boy, he cannot continue being a priest anymore. Sandra entrusts Dr Sean Morrissey with the information that she sees herself with a future with Cruz. She finally comes back on her revelation and tells Cruz that she does not think that it is Adriana who was buried in her vision near the home in the desert...
