Keith ends his letter of goodbyes. Brandon, sent by Gina to search for a bottle of wine in the Capwell's cellar, releases C.C. and Mason. Michael listens to Julia when she tells him that Mason has changed and that he is not the man she liked in the past. When Mason comes back home, he asks Michael to leave. Sophia agrees to spend the day with C.C.. Having covered her with presents, Keith prepares a candlelit dinner for Gina which ends up in the bedroom. When Gina falls asleep, Keith embraces her and leaves. When arriving home, Eden and Cruz discover a mannequin posed in the middle of the living room, set up like the night of Eden's rape...

Justin Deas will make a last appearance in the role of Keith Timmons in episode 1085, in a flashback of Gina, in bed with her.

In the early hours, Gina discovers Keith's letter which Brandon has already read. A F.B.I. agent questions them about where Keith would be likely to go, but Sonny asks him to leave. Michael refuses a donation from his father for the renovation of his parish. Julia, Sonny and Samantha went for a walk on the beach then, once home, they discover Kris Kringle in the middle of their living room. He calls Mason Sonny before disappearing mysteriously. Sonny goes to see Gina where he asks her why he has memories of the last Christmas with Julia and who he is indeed. Dr Arthur Donnelly invites Victoria to have dinner at home and embraces her. Eden tells Lydia that she is pregnant but makes her promise to keep it a secret. Cruz learns that fingerprints could be identified on the mannequin. He goes to arrest the suspect, but discovers that he is only the one who made the mannequin. Meanwhile, Eden accepts several calls at home from the rapist who claims to be ready to begin again. The first lieutenant Boswell, who stayed with her, hears a noise outside. He goes out and is stunned by an unknown person dressed in black. When Eden understands that the call which she accepts is a tape recorder playing, it is already too late: the rapist has come back into the home...

First reappearance of Kris Kingle since episode 855. He will reappear this year in episodes 1108, 1109 and 1110 during Christmas, then at Christmas 1990.

Eden surprises her attacker with a weapon. But Cruz's arrival distracts her and allows the rapist to escape. Eden however succeeded in hurting him and him leaving some blood which will be able to be analysed by the police. On the beach, Boswell stops Cain whom, dressed in black and a balaclava in his hand, has lost blood from his arm. Heather surprises Julia in the arms of Michael at the time when she had just stumbled off a ladder. Victoria pushes back Arthur's advances and ends up accepting his excuses. Arthur just after accepts the visit from a nurse friend whose brother has AIDS. Sonny asks Gina to organise an appointment with Mason and him. Gina tells Heather that Brandon was again a victim of dual personality to get information from her on the ways to cure schizophrenia. She takes Sonny to a hotel room and tells him to wait for Mason there. Thanks to a tape which Gina made during his sleep, Sonny imagines to speak with Mason who tells him that Sonny Sprocket was in fact his companion of an imaginary game when he was six years old. Eden accepts a new call from the rapist. But he makes a mistake by speaking about the colour of her dressing gown which she had put on just now. By reviewing the living room, Cruz discovers that there is a camera which has spied on them for days and destroys it with a bullet from his revolver...

Julia accepts a phone call from Sam Hastings, the public prosecutor, who asks her to investigate Keith's departure. As Sonny still did not return, she goes to see Gina with whom he was supposed to be with, and discovers that Brandon transformed the Lockridge residence into a bed and breakfast. Sonny, in frenzy, gets from Mason to keep control of his mind, safe for the moment of intimacy with Julia. In the Country-club, Kelly and Sophia, come to play tennis together, see T.J. In the same place, Ted is torn between the Major Hamilton who offers him a business trip to Mexico and C.C. who invites him to a stay in Idaho. Ted ends up accepting the proposal of the Major. T.J. uses the absence of Kelly to visit Jeffrey. Back home, Kelly orders Jeffrey's nurse to never let T.J. enter again. Now with Sonny, Gina finds a hotel room key in his bag. Sonny swears to Julia that he did not deceive her. He then accepts a visit from C.C. who offers him to come to join him at the Capwell firm. He is delighted with this and expresses this on the telephone with Gina...

Sonny visits the new office of the Capwell firm with Julia. As Zack confirms that the pregnancy appears normal, Eden and Cruz announce the happy event to their family. But noting that five weeks of Eden's pregnancy coincides with the date of her rape, each fear that the rapist could be the father of the baby. C.C. even recommends to Cruz to think of an abortion. Vic Boswell announces to Lydia Saunders of his suspicion on the guilt of Cain. Under the pretence of the report on the veterans of Vietnam, Lydia goes home to lead her investigation. Back at home, Eden and Cruz make love for the first time since the rape...

Julia is accused by Gina of wanting to destroy her life as well as that of Brandon. She learns shortly afterwards from the mouth of C.C. that it is Julia who is at the origin of the inquiry into Keith's malpractice. He also plans to take back Brandon from Gina. At the health centre, Heather welcomes Carla, a sixteen-year-old teenager who wants to have an abortion. But Michael, by trying to dissuade her from it, scares her off. Bunny Tagliatti, accompanied with a bodyguard, arrives at Gina's. Obviously wealthy, he rents four rooms from Brandon. At Cain's, Lydia discovers a hunting knife in a drawer. Jeffrey is surprised by the rapist with a video in his house, he has been overturned from his wheelchair. When Kelly comes back home, the rapist grabs her roughly from the back...

C.C. and Sophia surprise the rapist who flees. Kelly realises that Jeffrey, who is driven to the hospital, is very capable of hearing and that he tried to inform her of danger by playing with the television remote control. Again, he is threatened by T.J. in the room. In the hospital Michael sees Carla who has a hemorrhage having had an abortion in bad conditions. Arthur succeeds in saving her, but accuses Michael for being responsible for her state because he had opposed to the fact that Heather takes care of her. Eden accepts a new phone call from the rapist, but this time the call could be traced. Cruz, Eden, Vic and Lydia go to the location where the rapist has video equipment set up. Eden discovers a shrine behind a curtain there...

Eden has a nightmare again about her rape. She later has visions of the rapist. After the Carla affair, Michael tells Heather that he wants to leave the priesthood. He announces his decision to his bishop, but the bishop refuses to accept this. He excuses him for his feelings towards Julia and recommends to him to take care of Carla. Michael agrees to drive her to the Catholic home Holy Cecil. Zack invites Heather to have lunch. While C.C. hires a detective to find the rapist, Gina accepts a justice order to release her personal correspondence with Keith...

Sonny rises against the authority Gina shows towards him. He then makes acquaintances with Bunny of which he makes fun of his name. Bunny then shows a weapon to Sonny and puts him down to the floor. But very quickly the feeling of faintness becomes blurred and both men learn they share a common passion: country music. Zack, Heather, Cruz and Eden have dinner in the Orient Express. Sophia asks C.C. to stop his personal inquiry into the identity of the rapist and to keep the order. Eden and Cruz, disguised, rent a room at the Capwell hotel. But overnight, Cruz hears a noise and discovers that a rose was left in front of their door. Sophia comes back to the hotel and closes the door behind her. But somebody opens the bolt of her door to her room...

Gina awakens Sonny so that he goes to Julia's office and finds the file concerning her. Sonny destroys it in the shredder. Brandon, recovering after an accident from football, suggests to C.C. to organise a fancy-dress ball to to boost Eden's confidence. C.C. tells Sonny of his intention of transforming this party into an ambush for the rapist. He asks Heather to manage the funds so that they go to a centre for assistance of the women victims of rape. While Victoria is invited to this party by Arthur Donnelly, Heather agrees to go with Zack. Lydia Saunders gets from Vic Boswell the police record of Cain. Meanwhile, Cain leaves a message on Andrea's answering machine telling her that he loves her. Gina accepts Keith's phone call. Julia, who guesses who it is, asks Vic Boswell to put listening device on Gina's telephone...
