Episode 1030

Zack announces to Heather that he is moving out of her flat the next day. Scott is delighted with this news. Eden shows Cruz the report which she produced on Amado. Amado puts her in contact with a juvenile delinquent, Critter, whom she tries to interview in spite of his rebellion to any questions. The evening arrives and Eden finds herself alone in a district with a bad reputation. A shady man approaches her, but escapes when Zack, passes nearby. Eden can finally go to the party unveiling the Country-club, which is already in full swing. Kelly and Ted discover that their mother has a date Arthur Donnelly. T.J. enters with Buffy on his arm, and Victoria works as a waitress, thanks to C.C.'s intervention. C.C. introduces Eden to the manager of the television channel KSB. He insists that she shows him the report she produced on Amado. The man is delighted and decides to engage Eden on the field. Cruz sees himself being offered to make an appraisal of the disadvantaged in the districts of the city by a city council representative. Gina wakes up in bed with Sonny. Sonny reassures her on the fact that he did not use her in spite of his state of intoxication on the evening. Gina uses a mischievous game to remove Sonny's trousers: she sees Mason's famous beauty spot there...

Episode 1031

Zack tells Cruz that he found Eden at the time when she was going to be attacked. Cruz recommends for Eden to be more careful. Eden, irritated, off-loads to Kelly encouraging her without too much tact to make a decision concerning her marriage. Kelly goes back home to speak with Jeffrey, but he went out. On the beach, he bumps into Illiana, the pretty singer at Johnny's who was worried about his health. They get closer and make love on the sand. At the party, Cruz leaves on a mission in a difficult district of the city where a young member of gang, Stick, was killed. He offers for Cain to accompany him. Keith surprises Gina in the bed with Sonny. He puts handcuffs on him and Gina is obliged to lie to him by introducing Keith as her brother. Sonny manages to leave the hotel from the bathroom and finds shelter in a bar where he pushes the song on stage for a prostitute. Gina and Keith find his trace and Keith gives him handcuffs, deciding to bring him back with force to Santa Barbara to receive the million dollars reward...

Episode 1032

Kelly finds Jeffrey in Johnny's. She tells him she was worried to have not seen him coming back at night. Jeffrey makes her understand that he is not acting out to make her pay. Buffy comes to attack Kelly and the exchange ends in a fight. Both women find themselves thrown in prison for some hours. Phillip Hamilton finds Ming Li and Kai lying on the beach embracing each other. He promises retaliation to Kai. Gina feels humiliated having been forbidden entrance to the Country-club by C.C.. She finds Sonny who is locked in the cellar in the Lockridge residence and offers him a deal: learn to play Mason's role for a part of the reward promised by C.C.. Gina is proud to announce to Keith that Sonny agreed to play the game. Brandon goes to the cellar and finds Sonny lying on his bed. He is persuaded to have met a zombie! Sonny goes back to sleep and dreams about him as Mason, in the middle of the Capwell residence. Michael announces to Julia that, on the advice from his bishop, it takes a week of retirement far from Santa Barbara...

Episode 1033

Zack goes to the health centre and announces to Heather and Scott that he is going to work with them two days a week from now on. Scott has a little trouble getting enthusiastic. Heather asks Zack to stop his derogatory comments about Scott. Sonny has a toothache. He asks to be driven to a dentist. After Keith insults him, Sonny declares that he does not want to be a part of the plan anymore. Gina manages to persuade him to stay by giving excuses on behalf of Keith, who is upset. Julia, in search of Keith, gets the telephone number of the dentist where he went with Sonny from Brandon. Eden begins her first working day in the chain KSB. Her boss, persuaded that she was only recruited thanks to her name, decides to humiliate her by making her rewrite the text of a report on a pie eating competition. Cruz investigates the death of Stick, which happened at Scott's health centre. Scott describes the young people who accompanied him. Whilst watching Eden's report on television, Cruz recognises Critter thanks to the description from Scott. But to protect her sources, Eden refuses to reveal the place where she interviewed...

Episode 1034

Keith threatens to follow Eden if she refuses to reveal where she met Critter. Cruz stands up for her, even if he also regrets his choice. In search of Critter, Eden meets one of the members of his gang who threatens her with a flick knife. Eden keeps her self-control and asks him to inform Critter where she wants to see him. He follows her home, where he spies on her outside her window. Kai surprises Phillip preparing Ming Li's extradition. He tells him that he signed his departure also. He finds Ming Li in the beach bar and urges her to escape with him to the East Coast before the Major's men find them. But Ming Li insists to say her goodbyes to Cain before going. At the dentist's office, Sonny wakes up with the personality of Mason. He takes his business and goes to the Capwell residence. The servant faints after seeing him wandering in the entrance and tells Kelly what she saw. Gina confesses to Keith that she lost Sonny's trace. Julia is persuaded that Gina and Keith are hiding something from her. At home in the evening, she is surprised to see Mason who arrived suddenly. Both fall in the arms one of one another...

Episode 1035

In the early hours, Julia is happy to see Mason next to her upon waking up. They go together with Samantha to the Capwell residence where C.C., Kelly and Ted are surprised of his return from the dead. Kelly announces to Jeffrey that she wants to part from him. Jeffrey and T.J. meet in The Lair, where it seems that they share a plan contrary to Kelly. Eden persuades Critter to accept an appointment with Cruz and her. She phones Cruz to inform him and leaves a message with Vic Boswell, a police lieutenant who prefers keeping the information to himself. Cruz finds the message nonetheless and finds Eden and Critter in the beach bar. He just has the time to persuade him to become the police witness before Boswell off-loads and stops Critter on the field. Later, Eden is informed by Boswell that Critter was released. She then begins fearing for her security, fearing that Critter thinks that she set him up. Ming Li tells the whole truth to Cain on the subject and about being the blackmail victim of the Major Hamilton. Mad with rage, Cain goes to see Phillip and finds him viewing slides of him, embraced in a military costume with Soo Li. Cain discovers that they were lovers. Both men argue and come to blows. Phillip grabs a weapon, but Cain disarms him. He stops Phillip from killing him and goes back home. Ming Li announces to him that she nevertheless has decided to leave. Cain, ready to excuse her, lets her run away. Mason gives Julia Sonny's earring that he had left after his visit to the dentist. He introduces it to her as an engagement ring and offers her to marry him...

Episode 1036

T.J. surprises Jeffrey recommending that Kelly take some time off for a holiday far from the city. He threatens him with retaliation if he continues going contrary to their plan. Arthur accuses Scott of using a medicine to treat his father in spite of it being banned at the hospital. Eden must pass the screening from KSB to introduce her report on Amado. Lydia Saunders enters, announcing to be the new presenter and co-producer of the news. While Eden goes on air, Critter comes into sight on the set and takes Eden as a hostage by threatening her with a weapon. He wants her to publicly admit having reported him to the police. Cruz and Vic Boswell arrive there and stop Critter. Eden has well and truly decided to make sure that Critter stays in prison. Gina discovers that Mason became established at Julia's. She is playing to move Julia away and puts Mason to sleep with chloroform. She drives him home and manages to make him find Sonny's personality. When Julia comes back home, Mason is no where to be seen...

Episode 1037

Heather encourages Scott to take a day off to stay with her. Scott leaves his father in Zack's care. But his state of health degrades and Zack calls Arthur to the rescue. They decide to keep him in the hospital and to operate on him for a kidney immediately. Cain takes refuge in the cabin alone, in the mountains of Utah. He is drunk and has flashbacks of Ming Li and of Eden. Andrea arrives there, but Cain rejects her, asking her to forget him. In his state of suicidal semi-conscience, he even goes to the point of hitting her and shows her the door. Gina gives Sonny a lesson concerning the family tree of the Capwell's and shows him Mason's videos so that he draws inspiration from it. Michael suggests Julia searches for Mason at Gina and Keith's. But there, they find nobody, Gina having gone out to take photos of the Capwell residence to show them to Sonny. Still eager to sleep with Gina, Sonny shows him Mason's perfect simulation of which he proves to be capable of...

Episode 1038

Scott is informed that his father died during his operation. Arthur collapses from grief in front of his daughter. Scott hastens to accuse Arthur of murder and he threatens to lay him off. Gina speaks about Julia and Samantha to Sonny. She gives him a suit and a tie and makes him go back to Julia. But Sonny breaks his toe by awkwardness and ends up at the hospital, where Michael sees him. Julia is reassured to finally see Mason. Andrea arrives at Eden and Cruz's with her face swollen. She explains to them that Cain decided to leave the world and that he rejected her. Decided to go to San Diego, she asks Cruz to drive her to the airport. Eden must write a newspaper article of evening to manifest the attack of which she was a direct victim of. But Lydia prevents her from introducing extenuating circumstances due to Critter. Cruz on the road hesitates to come back. Eden is worried about anonymous phone calls which she receives in the morning, and the offender seems to be Critter, still in prison. Upon the return of Cruz, a shadow watches the living room of their home by the window...

Episode 1039

Having discussed it with her father, Kelly announces to Jeffrey that she decided to divorce. But he refuses. When Jeffrey asks T.J. to forget their deal, T.J. shows him a recording of the discussion where they combined to get rid of Kelly. Sonny is worried of Julia's advances and makes everything to delay the moment where he will have to make love to her. Cain discovers the letter of Andrea's goodbyes at home and the engagement ring which she left him. The Major Hamilton goes to the police, to lodge a complaint against Cain. But Cruz threatens him to dissuade him. No charge is made against Critter, who is released by Lieutenant Vic Boswell. On live on television, Eden improvises a speech in which she states that Critter's gun was not loaded during the hostage taking. She tries to play down the incident, in spite of Lydia and Brent Livingston, her editor, wishing to use the event for the ratings. While critter is finally released from prison, someone, in the dark, continues to watch Eden and Cruz by the window...
