Episode 1020

Michael says goodbye to Sister Sarah while preparing bits and pieces for the convent in Goletta. Arthur visits him and proves to be sympathetic facing his situation. Heather discovers Scott's small disjointed flat. She offers him to come to live with her. Scott accepts and Heather informs him about her father. She is surprised that he at this stage has no negative opinion. Andrea and Cain argue non-stop. In front of their shouting, Ming Li escapes the home and takes refuge on the beach. Kai finds Ming Li there and shows her the order of extradition which Phillip received towards her. Kai offers to run away with her before it is much too late. Victoria and Cruz discuss the caring of Chip in the Orient Express. Tori tries hard to remain calm, until she suddenly loses her self-control and makes a scandal in the middle of the restaurant. Accompanied with Phillip, she leaves shouting at Eden and Cruz that she wants to recover her son...

Episode 1021

Heather tells Scott that Zack got a post of section head in the hospital in Santa Barbara not in Los Angeles. Zack agrees to leave her flat at the end of the week. Cruz succeeds in bringing forward the hearing date for the caring of Chip to the following day. He asks Scott to testify for him in front of the judge, but Scott hesitates to betray Victoria. Victoria requests Julia to represent her at the court, but Julia refuses to take part between her and Cruz. Arthur announces to Scott that he appointed him to a health centre in the district with a bad reputation in Santa Barbara. Gina is persuaded that Mason is in Palm Springs, in a spa where she stayed with him in the past. She goes there with Keith. Michael discovers in the newspaper the photo of a man being in Las Vegas who strongly resembles Mason. He goes there by car with Julia. On the way, they take a young hitchhiker who, in the first stopping, threatens them with a weapon to rob them. She hides Julia's ring and trusses them up in a chair in an abandoned garage...

Episode 1022

In the early hours, Julia and Michael wake up still trussed up in their chair. They make fun of their situation, while managing to break loose. Julia finds a case filled with boxes of caviar and champagne, while Michael lays his hand on a motorbike which he manages to start up. Scott visits the health centre. He is depressed to see the place in abandonment, full of dirtiness and graffiti on the walls. Heather finds him there and gives him the idea of getting the local residents to participate in the rehabilitation of it. C.C. tells Lydia that he is the author of the recording of her report. He is outraged of the portrait which she raised of him. Sophia has lunch with her new friend Arthur Donnelly in The Lair, which makes C.C. jealous when he discovers her sitting at the table. Cruz's lawyer recommends him to use events of the past that can cause harm to Victoria to help him win the caring of Chip. Eden and Cruz arrive for the hearing, but Tori misses it. Scott arrives, finally ready to testify in favour of Cruz. Anxious, Cruz phones his mother who tells him that Chip disappeared from the home...

Episode 1023

At The Lair, Sophia criticizes C.C. for starring at her while she dances with Arthur. She drives Arthur to her hotel room for a drink. But while Arthur is ready to stay, Sophia asks him to leave her to preserve their new friendship. Phillip brings Victoria's letter to Cruz for his attention. Victoria escapes California with Chip on board of a train for Mexico City. She is accosted by a first lieutenant of the army whom she lies to preserve their anonymity. Badly in assistance in relation to Cruz, Victoria, at the end of her nerves, takes out her box of pills. Eden tells her father about Cruz's distress. Back at home, Eden and Cruz are surprised to find Victoria there. Victoria understood that she must recover first of all to be able to care for her son, and entrusts Chip to his father. Phillip tries to make Cain speak about Ming Li. In Las Vegas, Gina and Keith go to a casino to question the clients and the personnel about Mason's supposed photo. But Keith prefers slot machines, having won, he loses all their savings. They leave again in the evening, while a man seems to have followed them in the casino all day long...

Episode 1024

Lydia shows the new version of her report to C.C., delighted to see that all attacks against him were abolished. Kelly attends to every need of Jeffrey's during his recovery at home. Eden recommends to T.J. to let Kelly decide what she intends to make of her marriage. Sophia tells Kelly that she knows that she was in T.J.'s arms the evening when Jeffrey came under fire. Julia and Michael arrive at Las Vegas and go to the casino where the photo of Mason was possibly taken. They question clients, while Gina and Keith, dressed up as a housemaid and a bellboy, do the same throughout the day without crossing paths. Eden and Ted learn from C.C. that Mason is suspected of being alive. Eden asks Lydia to broadcast nationally a television announcement where C.C. offers a million dollar reward to find his son. In Las Vegas, not a very clever player at the casino sees the announcement on her television. Her lover, who is called Sonny, joins her in her room. It is the double of Mason...

Episode 1025

Sophia slaps Kelly when she brags in front of her to have slept with T.J.. Kelly tells her that she is capable of managing her emotional life as she sees it. Heather and Scott have already repainted the health centre. Kelly gives Scott a 5000-dollar cheque from her father to help him continue the renovation. Arthur invites Heather to have dinner in the Orient Express to celebrate Zack's new post. Heather cannot help inviting Scott to join them. Scott is alarmed to listen to their youth memories of yachts and servants. At the hotel in Las Vegas, Gina falls on Mason's mistress and hears her on the phone informing them that she is with the man for whom a reward was announced on television. Gina follows her to her room and hides under the bed while Sonny and she make love. She leaves the room as soon as she can and lies to Julia by saying to him that the man did not resemble Mason. She asks Keith to occupy Julia and Michael, while she goes back to see Carrie, Mason's friend. Meanwhile, Mason is accosted by two henchmen taking him out from the lift...

Episode 1026

T.J. hurts his hand after a blow of anger against Sophia in The Lair. Ted drives him to the hospital. There, he sees Kelly, come to accompany Jeffrey, who is in a daze. Jeffrey hears their discussion during which Kelly confesses in front of Ted to have slept with T.J.. C.C. offers Eden to take care of the organisation of the party unveiling his Country-Club. Carrie tells Gina that she must marry Sonny during the day. Before being stunned by an accomplice of Carrie's pimp, Gina just hears the name of the place where Mason was kidnapped. In front of Julia and Michael, Gina pretends to know nothing. She becomes the only one to know the address which she heard and finds Mason there. When seeing him, she realises that he does not recognise her. Cruz is back in Mexico where he was searching for Mason. With Cain, they discover a young called boy Amado in the Last Resort Detective Agency. He, obviously without a home, offers them his services for little money. Cruz shows Cain the jewellery that he brought back for Eden. But when, once back home, he wants to give Eden the present, Cruz does not find it...

Episode 1027

Scott learns that his father was driven to the hospital prison for a renal failure. He opposes Arthur who thinks that nothing else can be done. With Heather's help, Scott tries to get his father out of the hospital to give him treatment. Andrea hears Ming Li telling Kai that she fears Phillip Hamilton. She asks her for an explanation. Michael finds Sonny's business in his hotel room. By looking the clothes and at improper jewellery, as well as at his country music tapes, Julia persuades herself that the man in question cannot be Mason. She decides to go back to Santa Barbara. Gina and Sonny take refuge in a motel. Gina tests him to see if it is Mason. To prove if he has the same beauty spot as Mason on his buttocks, she even goes to the point of spying on him under the shower. Cruz thinks that it is the young person Amado who stole Eden's present. Deciding to get it back, he finds his trace thanks to a lender on promise. But a friend of Amado loses his temper against Cain and Cruz, and hurts Cruz in his arm with a knife...

Episode 1028

Cruz's attacker flees. Accompanied with Eden, Cain and Amado, Cruz goes to Scott's health centre to have his wound examined. Scott also welcomes his father, whom he puts under dialysis. After reflexion, Arthur leaves him a month to give treatment to Ben. Victoria also goes to the health centre and sees herself offering to Heather to join her support group of the old drug addicts. Tori goes to see Cruz to announce that she has decided on accommodation and a job. Ming Li does not tell Andrea of the disentangling with the Major. By seeing that Cain proves to be uncompromising towards the young person Amado, that he considers unforgivable and intending to lie all his life, Ming Li stops herself from telling him the truth. Keith joins Gina in her hotel room. He remains hidden behind a screen, while Gina entices Sonny and tries to make him undress in search of his beauty spot. But Keith does not succeed in containing his jealousy and is discovered by Sonny. Sonny flattens him to the floor with a punch. Eden offers to accompany Amado in his transfer, with the intention of producing a report on his life...

Episode 1029

Scott finds his inanimate father on the floor after he wants to disconnect his dialysis. Zack wants to help him, but Scott is nervous. Zack tells Heather that he does not understand how she can find an interest in Scott, so different from their social class. Arthur is delighted to see one of his articles published in the famous American Medical Review. He calls Sophia and invites her to be his date in the unveiling of the Country-Club which is taking place the following day. Sophia is forced to refuse C.C.'s offer when he invites her. Heather visits her father to make peace, but Arthur cannot help reducing the value of her, even without trying consciously to do it. T.J. spent the night with Buffy, a young and rich heiress who was known to the Capwells. She allows him to gain entrance to the unveiling of the Country-Club. Kelly gives into Jeffrey's advances. But even having made love, the couple stays in lack of communication...
