Virginia Haisley, who is a high school student with Ted, comes to the Capwell Villa to work with him. Virginia is the stereotype of the perfect student : a sage fringe, long hair, large glasses to certainly hide her shyness. Virginia is like Laken Lockridge in her behavior, which may not be to displease Ted.

While they are working, she approaches Ted to better explain... She is then surprised in her game of seduction by the arrival of Gina Capwell. Ted is forced to present them to each other. Gina's judgment on Virginia is final. Ted makes it clear to her that she should let them work. When leaving the villa, Virginia and Ted agree to meet for a date, Saturday, in town. Virginia leaves the Capwell Villa under the tender gaze of Ted and under the rage-filled gaze of Gina.

Virginia's very brief passage will be the opportunity for Ted to assert himself in front of Gina. When she advises Ted to be careful of young girls who might only want his money, he points out that she is such a person, since she married her father for his fortune. Crazy with anger, Gina promises to avenge him...

Strangely, if Virginia has not managed to attract Ted's affection, it is another young girl with a very wise look who in a few months will be the object of all the attention of Ted. And although she is Gina's niece, she will easily prove to Ted that she does not want his money...
