by Mason Capwell to discover the legality of a divorce in San Carlos,
Scott brings back his discoveries at the Orient Express.
He
certifies to him that after verification, his divorce validated with
Julia, although validated by the authorities of San Carlos, is not valid
in California. As
a wise lawman, he gives Mason a document approving his remarks. Mason
has a smile on his lips : he is certain that Julia ignores this aspect
of the law...
Their
appointment is quickly interrupted by Cassandra Benedict, who comes to
take Scott's place, to eat one-on-one with Mason; this
latter being unaware that Mason is not free, legally...
