 Destined
to meet the same fate as Tuc Whitaker, Jimmy Foxworthy arrives at the
Capwell mansion intending to ask Kelly out. At first, the scene appears
to repeat itself : Kelly slips away, leaving Sophia to explain to the
young suitor that Kelly is not interested in him.
For
reasons unknown - perhaps because of Jimmy's charm or self-confidence -
Kelly suddenly appears and leaves with him, even though she initially
cannot remember his name.
Jimmy
remains a passenger in his Ferrari as Kelly speeds along the coastal
road overlooking the ocean. This situation seems to please him : a
beautiful girl, a powerful sports car and high speed. Arrested with
Kelly, he accompanies her to the Castillos before disappearing.
A
few weeks later, he runs into Kelly again at Howie's Diner. Kelly has
just been convicted of driving under the influence. Jimmy waits until
her table companion, Ric Castillo, leaves her alone before approaching
her. But Kelly has learned her lesson from her conviction and is no
longer in the mood for carefree fun. Jimmy realizes this and gives up
any romantic ambitions he may have had toward her...
