 Police
officer of the Santa Barbara city, Ed Jenkins is the partner of Tom
Fellows.
So
when Tom is found dead with a bag of Ice in his hand, he knows that he
is going to be at the heart of the investigation and that he is going to
have to answer questions from the police.
Summoned
in Cruz Castillo's office, he must answer the insistent questions of
this latter. In front of Cruz and Vic Boswell, Ed answers the questions
and, with great firmness, assures the investigators that Tom was not
taking drugs.
He
certifies that if Tom is dead, it is well connected to the Ice, because
he was approaching the truth.
It
is more determined than ever, with absolute confidence in his late
partner, that he leaves Cruz's office.
