 Jack
Dante appears one summer day in 1989 without ever truly being introduced.
He turns out to be a long-time informant for Cruz Castillo, reliable and
efficient.
His
only connection to other characters is Bunny Tagliatti, who is his
cousin and recognizes him one day in Cruz's office, calling him Vitto.
Dante
is mainly sent by Cruz to investigate cases involving Robert Barr and
Craig Hunt, carrying out numerous assignments : surveillance,
wiretapping, infiltration... He is also there to help Cruz find work as
a private investigator when Cruz is temporarily dismissed from the
police at the end of 1989. His activity then seems to stabilize, and
Dante now presents himself as a private investigator.
Although
he is occasionally asked by Eden Capwell to carry out quick information
searches, Dante primarily works for Mason Capwell in that year 1990 :
investigating Sasha Schmidt, her sister Sydney Schmidt, Craig Hunt…
Dante appears loyal no matter who is paying him.
After
more than fifteen months in the show, he disappears during one final
mission, without ever being given a storyline worthy of the name that
might have shed light on his past and true identity.
