it is the
owner of a
sleazy
bar
at
the bottom
of
the desert.
It
is in his bar and
under his eyes that
occurs the meeting between
Willy and
Jeffrey Conrad.
He closes his eyes
when Willy
drugs Jeffrey's
glass, leaving
him the open field to try to kill
Kelly Capwell.
Then,
it is for a few
dollars that, obeying
Willy, he
lies to Kelly :
he makes her believe that
Jeffrey left
the bar for a
while to join her.
This lie will
increase Kelly's
psychosis. After
Elizabeth, Kelly
imagines she
will be Jeffrey's
next victim.
