Tricia Cast plays Nina Webster Kimble in The Young and the Restless since 1986. Previously, she was Christie DuVall in Santa Barbara. "I am responsible for the rupture between Ted Capwell (Todd McKee) and Laken Lockridge (Julie Ronnie). I would have liked to stay in Santa Barbara, but Christie was so wicked that it was necessary to get rid of her !" She prefers the role of Nina. "She has an interesting life. She seems to be mingled with many kinds of problems and the way in which she comes out impassions me." Tricia also played in episodes of Little House on the Prairie. "I was 15 years old and I would have liked that Michael Landon hires me full-time. He was so nice, so tender with children."

Tricia Cast, 26, says that she wants to stay in The Young and the Restless because "we form a great family" and also because this is there that she met her husband, Jack Allocco, seventeen years her elder, composer and director of the music of the soaps The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. Married since June 15, 1989, they live a vast house in Beverly Hills with their two cats, Blothar and Ivan. They hope to have a child soon. "We were seven in my family and I wish to have two children."

Born on November 16, 1966 in Long Island, New York, Tricia dreamed to a career of actress since she was 6 years old. First role at 12 : Amanda in the show The Bad New Bears (the story of a team of young baseball players). Then she is Julie in the comic show It's Your Move. In 1992, she wins the Emmy of the best young actress in The Young and the Restless. To work fourteen hours per day at the same place as her husband do not traumatise her ! "We are very close. He comes to see me several times per day in my lodge." Tricia appreciates that Nina becomes increasingly an adult. "I reproached her for a long time to be too naive. But she is so heartily." What is it intended to Nina ? "I can say to you that she will still live many adventures." Tricia is - for the amateurs of statistics - the smallest of all the actresses of the show (1,53 meter), but also one of the more sympathetics !
