Speaking of Santa Barbara we'd like to talk about the first casualty the show had : actor Robert Wilson, who played Channing Capwell Junior. "It was a difficult decision I had to make quickly," says Robert. "I had tested for the role of Ted Capwell, which went to Todd McKee, and they asked me if I would be willing to play Channing even though it would be limited... very. I thought about it a bit and decided it was work and somebody had to do it. Since the character wasn't going to be too recognizable, they hope they could work me in later in another role."

Robert has worked a lot in television and films in shows such as Double Trouble, Matt Houston and The Young and the Restless and is in the upcoming Ruth Gordon film, Mugsie's Girls, which also features Mark Andrews, and the upcoming Tri Star release Xmas. Whether he returns to Santa Barbara or not, Robert Wilson is on his way.
