Private Eye kicks off the New Year partying with the stars of Santa Barbara. The cast of Network Ten's Emmy (Australian network) Award winning Daytime soap left its glamorous seaside playground for a night out with their fans. More than 600 Santa Barbara die-hards flocked to Los Angeles' Sportsman Lodge to rub shoulders with their favourites.

A highlight of the star-studded night was a celebrity auction, the highest-drawing items being Eden's (Marcy Walker) nightie and a good luck charm belonging to resident hunk Cruz (A Martinez).
