The studios entrance, where we were waiting for hours in full heat...

The exterior and the entrance to the Capwell home, a legendary set !

It would take 100 lines to tell our trip in July 1989. I traveled with a Breton, Christophe Le Cam, who ran another French fan club of the show. He had an article in the magazine Télé Loisirs at the time.

Arrived on the spot, many hours waiting at the entrance of the studios in the heat, without even see who were the actors in the cars. I had tried to negotiate on the phone with the producer who had been unplesant even though I explained to him that I was the president of the French fan club and that I have made at least 10 hours of plane. He just knew to answer me : "You know Isabelle Caron ? Ask her ! The studio is not open to public, good luck !"

I do not know anymore how we had managed to talk on the phone to a girl of the studio who was speaking a very good French and she made us come in.

Many photos as the Capwell home were taken in the dark, while the flashes were forbidden (we could be thrown out because of it !). We must precise this, because it explains the bizarre poses we have on the photos, everything was in the dark ! We had even hit objects on the set to such an extent that a technician had come to say to us to be careful as we could be thrown out... But these are unique archives on a single time gone, since all these sets are destroyed.

No set of the Lockridge home that day, I was disappointed...

So we met, discussed and received autographes with Judith McConnell, Marcy Walker, Robin Mattson, Vincent Irrizarry, Carrington Garland, and Peter Love... Very nice, he went to pick us a great photo where he poses with Carrington Garland for us to autograph ! He had even shown us his cowboy boots by lifting his jeans and while saying to us : "You see, I'm well Cruz's brother !"

In front of the famous door and in the atrium. All the flowers were in plastic... I even have enlarged the photo in the atrium in poster format which is framed on one of the walls of our home ! It was such a dream for me, fan of the soap and of decoration too !
In the atrium, against the fountain which had worked only in the first episodes in 1984... Here I am in the stairs...

Small size, but it allows to see some other details of the set or of the flowers...

The set of Eden and Cruz's house.

On the set of the Orient Express restaurant. There was real food on the plates ! On the left : the set off, in the dark, it is less pretty but never seen. On the right : fuzzy picture unfortunately, but to show that I went behind the set !

On the set, at the Orient Express, with Marcy Walker (Eden Capwell).

A scene from the shooting with Peter Love (Ric Castillo) and Carrington Garland (3éme Kelly Capwell).

Vincent Irizarry (Scott Clark) and Jane Rogers (Heather Donnelly) in a scene at the hospital...

With Marcy Walker in the corridor of the dressing rooms (you can see behind Judith McConnell who was going back to her dressing room). A very nice woman !

In the corridor of the dressing rooms with Roscoe Born (Robert Barr). The photo is funny, because he seems to give me a hand-kissing !!!

Peter Love (Ric Castillo) poses with me.

With Judith McConnell (Sophia Capwell), delighted to learn that we were French. She had looked herself for pictures for us to sign... Behind, reading his lines, Peter Love, who played Cruz's brother...

With Carrington Garland, quite shy.

With Robin Mattson (Gina DeMott Capwell), very nice. Here she is also trying to dedicate our photos : she wanted to sign on the back, I told her : "No, on the photo please !".
