Paintings in Santa Barbara

 Home   Cette page en Français

Santa Barbara has an astonishing influence on its fans. Someone started to learn English; someone got work as a lawyer like his favorite hero; maybe someone bought one oil well or two...
And now this series lets us to look for paintings from around the world. This search was born in 2011 on
teleserial.com, a Russian forum dedicated to Santa Barbara series. Russian like to ask different questions : "Who is to blame ?", "What to do ?", "Where this dust came from ?" or "Where my money goes ?" This is a large part of our pastime.
It was the same. It began with a question from one of the forum members : "What is the painting behind Mason when he is talking with Ted at the district court ?" After little searching on the net, we found out that it is The Spirit of 76 by Archibald Willard. Then it came further... "What is the painting above the bed in C.C.'s room ?", "What about the cabinet ?", "And what is on the stairs in the atrium ?", "What about Eden's room" ?...
It turned out that Santa Barbara "hides" many paintings from different kinds of authors. No matter that Bridget and Jerome Dobson wrote about all of them in the scenario. Anyway, the person who placed them in the halls of the studio is an enthusiastic and intelligent person ! Huge thanks to him ! To identify some of them took about minutes, some others took years. There are many paintings that wait for it till nowdays !
In 2020 this search went out from the Russian forum. Now you are welcome to join us and to try yourself as a detective in art. Maybe you will find out one more painting for the collection ?
Welcome to the gallery of Santa Barbara paintings !
