La Mesa Santa Barbara

La Mesa is a popular restaurant of Mexican style in which Kelly Capwell is going to work, thanks to her friend Sally Taylor. We also find there Danny Andrade, who plays the waiters and the divers to pay his extras, but also Barbara Anderson and Beth. Curiously, the waitresses of this restaurant who wants to be Mexican-like (typical blankets as tablecloths), are dressed with flounced dresses, with a large low-cut which remind more the dresses of Gone With the Wind.

From the entrance, an important element : a telephone fixed to the wall, which serves mostly for warning of the dangers which watch for the heroes further to the conversations spied in the restaurant.

Then comes the main room and its numerous round tables, then other smaller rooms.

It is in the walls of La Mesa that is going to take place a big part of the intrigue of the carnation killer, because it is there that Peter Flint will come to observe Kelly. In La Mesa also works Barbara Anderson, the first victim of Peter, who will be found dead in the middle of the dining room.
