Episode 1810

Warren surprises Cassandra by entering Mason's hospital room. Two policemen intervene, but Cassandra asks them to release Warren. Anyway, Mason is absent from the room, Julia and Cruz having transferred him to a safer place. Cassandra tries to find out where from Cruz, in vain. Angela begins speaking to Cruz, but she sees Julia behind a window pane and gives up speaking. Katrina invites Julia and Dash to have dinner in the Oasis. Dash finds this embarrassing, and Julia does not stay for a long time at the table with him. C.C. gives an order to Craig to find where Mason is. Angela goes back to the police station, and admits being Warren's alibi. She asks Cruz to keep her relationship with him a secret. Cruz doubts her admission. Julia sees Angela leaving Cruz's office and understands that she is Warren's mistress and also the alibi...

Episode 1811

In the early hours, Cassandra finds Warren asleep on the sofa in the room. Whilst lifting his jacket, a photo falls out: it is showing Warren, with a gun in his hand, from the balcony of the flat. Cassandra is horrified, but Warren swears to her that it is not him who pulled the trigger on Mason. David recollects the car accident which cost Angela's sisters life. Warren visits Angela in the garden. They kiss each other, when suddenly David arrives. Warren throws himself into the swimming pool to hide. Angela quickly makes David leave to allow Warren to catch his breath coming out of the water. David joins Cruz and Julia at Julia's office. He announces that he asked Scott Stapleton to arrest the shooter and asks him to indict Warren...

Episode 1812

Julia takes David's decision badly to lobby her to arrest Warren. Dash surprises Angela and Warren kissing each other in Raymond's garden. Angela asks him to remain silent and threatens him. Dash prefers avoiding any conflict and chooses to resign. Rosa explains to Santana that she will be never be considered to be a Capwell, in spite of her desires. As if to contradict her, C.C. invites Santana to have breakfast with him, and has Rosa serving them. C.C. receives divorce papers from his lawyer. Gina is astounded that C.C. invites Santana to become established in the guest house of the Capwell villa. Angela reminds David that she did everything to help him to attain the senate seat in Washington and that he must prove to be careful with the file which Mason has on him. David entrusts to Julia that he plans to divorce. While he is developing photos taken by Suzanne, Warren is interrupted by Michael. Michael comes to seize all that is in his dark room...

Episode 1813

Julia explains to Warren that his affair evades him and that he is not going to be capable of helping her anymore. Katrina and C.C. argue once again about Dash, and Katrina decides to move out of the Capwell villa. Suzanne offers Katrina to come to live with her. Gina points out that Santana and C.C. get closer. To try to separate them, she tells C.C. that it was Santana who recommended to Katrina to leave. Katrina and Dash go to a bar. A man becomes established at their table and is taken to Dash, whom he insults of being a rapist. They begin fighting. Bearing a grudge stunning Dash, the man breaks a bottle on Katrina's head, who collapses. Before leaving for a convention in San Francisco, Julia informs Warren with a hint that the police has harsh proof against him and that he would better to leave the jurisdiction. Michael discovers in one of the photos found at Warrens that he was in a position of shooting from the balcony of his flat. On the order of Stapleton, he goes to the newspaper and arrests Warren for Amado's murder...

Episode 1814

In the bar, Katrina gets up again simply a bit dazed. The man who hit her by fighting with Dash proves to be have been paid by Craig. Warren is driven to the police station. Cruz discovers that a photo of Warren, with the murder weapon in his hand, was taken by Suzanne. He criticises her for having hidden it from him. He asks again Angela to testify to save Warren, but she fears repercussions on her marriage. Lionel visits Warren and tries to dissuade him from wanting to represent himself alone without the assistance of a lawyer. With the bail having been fixed at 1 million dollars, Lionel asks for Cassandra's assistance to raise the money. Cassandra refuses, still doubting Warren's innocence. When Lionel goes back to the police station, Warren is leaving, the bail having been paid by a lawyer. Cassandra finally arrives to pay the bail, and Lionel understands that it was not her who is at the origin of the payment. Suzanne and Cruz go to Angela's flat, to reconstruct the events. From the balcony, Cruz sees Angela and Warren down below sipping champagne...

Episode 1815

Mason gets out of the hospital without Cruz knowing and goes to the Oasis where he finds Cassandra. He makes her phone Warren to announce to him that they have set a new date for their marriage. Craig gives Mason a revolver. Cassandra fears that he will use it against Warren. Mason starts to lose blood under his dressing in his neck, and Craig drives him to Dash's place so that he treats him without going to the hospital. In San Francisco, Julia and David drink some champagne in a hotel room. David kisses Julia, but she repeats to him that she still loves Mason and that she does not envisage a relationship with him. Warren receives several anonymous calls throughout the day. After dark, Mason goes to see Raymond. He finds the file there which he had constituted about Marilyn. In the garden, he surprises Angela getting out of the swimming pool with Warren. He accuses her of having formed an alliance to kill him and threatens Warren with his weapon. He fires a gunshot in his direction...

Gordon Thomson finally takes back the role of Mason after having been replaced by a stand-in since episode 1805. Indeed Mason's face was not shown without being covered with grazes or completely off camera.

Episode 1816

Warren is hurt in the knee by Mason's weapon. Mason, surprised that his weapon is loaded, had not thought that he pulled the trigger. He prefers leaving by asking them not to alert the police. Angela sends for Dash so that he examines Warren's wound. Soon well-manicured, Warren runs away, not without having recovered Mason's weapon. Angela asks Dash not to speak about what he saw. Dash accepts provided that Angela negotiates in his favour with C.C.. Mason pretends that nothing took place, and goes to Warren's newspaper with Cassandra. There, he announces to Cruz and Suzanne that he discovered that Angela and Warren have a relationship and that it was her who paid the bail. Cassandra is shocked by this revelation. Cruz goes to see Angela, who does not speak to him about the events. Angela finds Mason in the Oasis and asks him to return the copy of the judicial file on the death of her sister. Suzanne goes back home and discovers a trace of blood in her entrance. She realises that Warren has come to take refuge at her home. She hides him in a cupboard, while Cruz arrives. He asks her to inform him if she receives any news from Warren. Suzanne chooses to say to nothing to him...

For the first time since their first appearance on screen on episode 1758, the offices of Santa Barbara Conscience are occupied by extras representing journalists. Until then, only Warren seemed to manage all the work of writing the newspaper, what was not very plausible. For the first time also, Warren's typewriter is replaced by a computer.

Episode 1817

Angela re-hangs herself and tells Cruz what happened with Mason and Warren. Cruz goes back to Suzanne's, persuaded that Warren is there. Suzanne continues denying, even if Cruz makes her understand that he is not fooled. They are interrupted by Katrina's arrival, who has come to move into Suzanne's. Mason receives several anonymous calls during the day. He is persuaded that it is Warren. Julia and David come back from San Francisco. Mason is sure that nothing occurred between them. David finds Angela. He entrusts her to regret having succeeded never in falling in love with her, and announces her that he wants to divorce...

Episode 1818

Angela takes the decision of David to divorce badly. She is persuaded that Julia is the reason. At Warren's request, Katrina phones Russia to learn news about one of his friends. Santana offers Sophia to organise the redecoration of the villa following plans which she had drawn in the past. But Sophia, who does not see herself returning to live there, prefers that Santana uses her own creations. She asks her however to make sure that C.C. does not fall between Gina's labels. Michael asks Katrina to inform Warren that he must go to the district attorney's office to make a statement in the afternoon. Angela tells Cassandra that Mason pulled a gun on Warren. Cassandra is shocked. Warren does not come to the appointment with Julia. Mason uses this time to ask her if she would be ready to go back to him, persuaded that they still like each other. Some seconds later, he leaves her office exhausted, obviously disappointed by her answer...

Episode 1819

Cruz learns from Suzanne that Warren left the city. He recommends telling him where he is to avoid troubles, but Suzanne refuses to answer him, having given her word to Warren. By learning this news, Angela fears that she loses the bail of 1 million dollars which she used to release him. She again asks Mason to return the file on the death of her sister. When she announces that David is going to ask for a divorce, Mason takes her in pity and gives her the file. Whilst talking with Suzanne, David learns that Angela paid Warren's bail. He finds traces of blood in his home and Angela confesses to him that it was Warren's blood. She explains to him that she thinks he is innocent and that it why she bailed the bail. She tells him that she is still fond of him and promises that she will do everything to prevent him from getting a divorce. Cruz announces to Suzanne that he is on a track to find Eden in Mexico, where they had met his uncle. Mason tries to tell Cassandra what happened with Warren. He tries to make love with her, but Cassandra does not want to...
