Episode 1760
Warren
continues following Cassandra so that she ceases seeing Mason frequently. Rosa
announces to Warren her concern not to manage to see Santana anymore in the
asylum. Santana asks Dr Grant Jameson why he does not authorise her to see her
mother anymore. She rebels, and Dr Jameson injects a tranquillizer into her
which puts her asleep. On her waking, Santana manages to stun her nurse and
leaves the asylum. Suzanne has a nightmare in which she sees Channing Junior,
his upper body was covered with blood by a bullet. Sophia goes to her flat and
asks her to leave her family alone. She offers to pay her so that she leaves the
city. Suzanne leaves her alone. A charity event is organised in the Oasis in
favour of the hospital. Angela, the wife of the judge David Raymond, makes her
arrival there. After dark, Sophia finds Suzanne on the beach. She points out the
sketches which she made of the Lockridge yacht and the instant when she almost
drowned after her dispute with Lionel years earlier. Sophia understands that she
is facing her Eden. She turns around towards her and confirms her real identity...

Episode 1761
On
the beach, Suzanne refuses for Sophia to go up to her or touch her. She
proclaims that Eden died, just as Channing Junior, and that it is by her error.
She pushes Sophia, who falls to the ground, and escapes. At night, Santana runs
away at the side of the road. Suddenly, a car in full headlights tears along
towards her and hits her. A man gets out of the car and crushes her with his
foot: it is Dr Jameson. He lifts Santana's body and leaves it in bushes. Santana
is helped some minutes later by a motorist. In the Capwell villa, Rosa is
informed by a patient of the asylum that Santana escaped. She receives a call
from Eden which, taken for Sophia, asks her to leave the villa. Rosa runs up to
the charity event at the Oasis, in search of Cruz or Warren. C.C. talks with
Angela Raymond, with Julia present. Angela remembers that Julia was David's
helper in the faculty of rights, and reserves a hostile reception towards her.
Gina tells Mason that she is pregnant and lets him guess if he or C.C. is the
father. Mason has a clever pleasure of announcing the news to C.C.. Sophia
arrives in her turn at the Oasis, half lost, and receives a call from Eden,
asking her to join her in the villa. Eden removes her Suzanne's brown wig, and
the late Channing Junior takes the personality of his brother. Armed with a
revolver, she decides to avenge the death. Dressed up as Channing, she looks in
a mirror and sees the reflexion of Eden, who tries to reason with her. She is
interrupted by Sophia, who arrives at the villa...
Episode 1762
Santana
is driven to the hospital. Dash, who performs his community service there, takes
care of her. Santana, in a half conscious state, asks him to call Warren and
tells him that they tried to kill her. Dr Jameson arrives and pretends to be
worried for his patient. Rosa and Warren follow him and ask him to see Santana.
Dr Jameson refuses. In the Capwell villa which is plunged into darkness, Eden
plays the game of cat and mouse with Sophia. She understands that she has to see
Eden, and follows her trace to into C.C.'s office where Eden arranged to meet
her. At an entered time, Eden waits for her, sitting in the chair behind the
office and lifts the revolver towards her. Sophia asks to speak to Eden, but she,
with Channing Junior's mind, says that Eden is not there. She pulls the trigger
on Sophia point-blank. Eden heads for the mirror and sees her brother Channing.
She criticises him for having pulled the revolver on Sophia to take revenge,
while he is only a selfish man who has always liked himself only. Lying on the
floor, unable to move, Sophia asks for Eden's assistance. She calls the
ambulance by telephone when, suddenly, Sophia does not move anymore...
Episode 1763
Eden
recovers Sophia's ring and leaves the Capwell residence. A driver waits for her
in a limousine, and Eden leaves Santa Barbara. Kelly and Craig arrive at the
villa and find Sophia in the office, lying on the floor. Sophia just has the
time to pronounce the name of "Channing" in Craig's ear before losing
consciousness. Driven to the hospital and she is operated on. There, Warren
slips into Santana's room in spite of the ban from Dr Jameson. He steals Dash's
doctor's overalls and goes to psychiatry, where he talks with Louise, a friendly
patient of Santana. Michael is placed in charge of the inquiry into Sophia's
attack. By learning that Santana escaped from the asylum, Kelly persuades
herself that it was her who pulled the revolver on Sophia to avenge the death of
Channing Junior. Back in the villa, Mason is surprised that they placed Sophia
in the same room where Channing Junior was killed almost twelve years before. He
criticises C.C. concerning Sophia. Mad with anger, he hits him to the face. In
the hospital, Sophia, still unconscious, sees the instant again when Eden,
pulled the trigger on her...

Episode 1764
Angela
and David Raymond are interviewed in the Oasis by a journalist of Santa
Barbara Conscience. In the hospital, Michael informs Dr Jameson that his
car was found, and that he is served for hitting Santana. Jameson pretends to be
shocked. Warren, who attended the stage, finds Santana in the room. Santana
swears that Dr Jameson doped her to prevent her from recovering and from leaving
the hospital. C.C. visits Sophia. In spite of her coma, Sophia hears him
speaking to her. Michael tells Cassandra that he knows everything about her
relationship with Warren, further to the inquiry which he had performed on her
as for Minx. He swears that it makes no difference, and offers to be her
intimate friend if necessary. Warren asks Julia to prevent Dr Jameson from
approaching Santana and to put the hospital room under surveillance. Julia
refuses...
The wall separating the restaurant room of the terrace of the Oasis has disappeared : the whole restaurant overlooks now the outside ! |
Episode 1765
Lionel
goes to Sophia's bedside at the hospital. C.C. surprises him and shows him the
door. He makes a nice statement to his wife, and excuses his lies. Lionel finds
Warren in the corridors of the hospital. Warren is taken to his father, who he
accuses of having let the Lockridge clan crumble. Lionel returns his criticism,
reminding him that he is the first to be away without giving news. Julia tells
Cruz what happened to Sophia and Santana. Cruz goes to see Santana in the
hospital, but keeps confidence in the integrity of Dr Jameson. Warren tells
Santana that Louise, her friend in the asylum, disappeared. In spite of the
opinion of Warren, Santana announces to Dash of her attacks by Jameson. Warren
offers to install a camera in the hospital room to watch the activities of Dr
Jameson. Katrina tells Cruz that she has no more news of Suzanne. Cruz goes to
her flat and discovers that it was entirely emptied...

Episode 1766
Warren
hires Flame as a journalist and asks her to write an article with load against
Capwell. Mason and C.C. confront one another about Sophia. Mason continues
accusing him of having killed Channing Junior and Eden, while C.C. stands up.
Warren announces Santana's suspicion to Cruz regarding Dr Jameson. Cruz goes to
Sophia's bedside and speaks to her about the disappearance of Suzanne. Without
her being able to be heard, Sophia makes a wish that Eden / Suzanne is not found.
After Cruz, it is Gina who comes to see Sophia. She announces proudly that she
is pregnant; reminding her that she considers her responsible to have made her
lose her baby in a fall on the staircase some years before. She whispers in her
ear the name of the father of her baby, when suddenly the alarm of the machine
in which Sophia is connected to blares...

Episode 1767
Mason
enters Sophia's room and tries to revive her. Dr Jameson intervenes and takes
care of her. C.C. thinks that Mason tried to kill Sophia and attacks him. Kelly
separates them. Cassandra shows Minx how she decorated the suite which she
reserved for her within the new Lockridge villa. Minx learns from Warren that
Cassandra has full powers on finances of the family. Augusta, half intoxicated,
argues with Warren when he disparages the Lockridge family again. She goes to
the hospital in Sophia's room. Augusta criticises her for the fact that it is
because of her link with Lionel whom she gave up for her part in conceiving
Warren with an unknown person. Despaired, Augusta wishes that she is in the coma
instead of Sophia. In the Oasis, Gina surprises Mason spying on Cassandra in the
Lockridge villa by means of a camera with video-surveillance. Cassandra
discovers a thread and a microphone in her room and guesses that they were put
down by Mason. She is forced to push back again the advances of Warren, who has
become her neighbour in the next room. Knowing that she is being spied on, she
uses the microphone to declare that she is in love with Mason...

Episode 1768
Julia
arrives late at the judge David Raymond's house to make him sign a request
allowing her to achieve the medical records of Dr Jameson. Angela criticises
Julia for forcing David to take measures for the opponent of a respectable
doctor and for the risk of harming her political ambition. Santana calls Warren
for assistance. Warren goes to Flame and asks her, as well as Dash, to help him
get Santana out of the hospital. Flame accepts, and they both help Santana out
without the treating personnel knowing. Flame accommodates Santana at home, and
Rosa comes to visit her. The next day Angela makes the acquaintance of Warren.
She does not prove to be insensible to his charm and apparently informs him
about it. Julia tries to find out where Warren hid Santana, but he refuses to
answer her...

Episode 1769
Warren
informs Cruz that he had the medicine which Dr Jameson gave to Santana tested:
they have no therapeutic value. Michael finds a witness who saw the man behind
the steering wheel of the car which hit Santana. He recognises Dr Jameson. Dash
explains to Julia that he decided to change his community service place, because
he did not feel competent with medicine. Katrina decides to go for a walk in
mountains. She arrives at Dash who had pruned trees, and faints in his arms.
Warren interviews David Raymond for the newspaper. He questions him on the death
of Angela's sister, Marilyn, but David refuses to answer him. Mason spies from
his office on Michael's visit in Cassandra's room. She repeats her unconditional
love for Mason. By hearing him, Mason calls her and confesses to her to have
installed a camera and a microphone in her suite. He explains to think that he
currently does not need it anymore. Cruz comes to arrest Dr Jameson in the
Oasis. Julia discovers that Mason is his lawyer...
