Episode 1500

Stephen proves to be ambitious towards Sophia, and she plays down her devotion. In the Capwell villa, she insists for C.C. to attend the screening of Journeys. C.C. opposes to the fact that the film is publicly shown. Cassandra spies on their discussion. Mason does not manage to work on his novel because of workmen in Julia's home. He suggests that his father launches into a new property plan to speak about the Capwell firms. C.C. offers Mason to work again for him. Debra London arrives on Robert's yacht. She raises an order for a costume and orders an identity. At Eden and Cruz's, Kelly recovers without seeing the letter addressed to Eden and written by Robert. She asks C.C. to lend her the yacht to leave with Craig. Craig arrives to search for Kelly in the Capwell villa. C.C. who does not trust him, asks him not to act with his interests...

Robert tells Debra London that he has no brother and sister. This will be soon contradicted...,

Episode 1501

Lionel offers to C.C. to acquire the ancient picture which he desires. He just asks him for a small committee to play the intermediaries. Julia fears that Mason accepts the proposal from his father. She is afraid that their tumultuous relationship will lead him to drink again. In spite of Julia's opinion, Mason announces to his father that he accepts his offer. The Pasha took Eden and keeps her trussed up. He tells her that he knows who she really is and makes her believe that he also has Cruz. Eden offers to tell him where she hid the talisman in exchange for Cruz's freedom. Shaila joins Pasha's tent and makes her believe that she was forced by Cruz to leave, who has been taken as a hostage. Michael finds Eden and explains to her that Cruz is not kept by the Pasha, but by the Sheikh with whom he is at war with. Eden announces to the Pasha that she knows that he is not keeping Cruz as a prisoner, but that he must help her to release him...

Episode 1502

Eden offers the Pasha to complete a report for American television, in which she will inform them of the war against the Sheikh. She hopes that in exchange, he will help her to find Cruz. The Pasha sends his representative to negotiate with Eden. Sophia announces to Stephen that she has succeeded in persuading C.C. to let him organise a public projection of Journeys. Stephen organises the event for the evening. But at the time of casting the film, he realises that the print has disappeared. In the Orient Express, C.C. interrupts Robert having lunch with Debra London. C.C. asks the young woman to give him the photos of the property which she took in his absence. C.C. entrusts Robert that he knows that he made Craig buy back the property at the seaside from Harland Richard. Debra goes back home and takes her wig off. She is welcomed by a mysterious man. Kelly and Craig have a picnic at sea on board of the Capwell yacht. Craig, who is looking through Kelly's business, finds the letter that Robert addressed to Eden and Cruz, which Kelly took by mistake. He reads there that Robert is madly in love with Kelly...

First appearance in the series of Quinn Armitage, his face still hidden.

Episode 1503

On the Capwell yacht, Kelly finds anxious Craig and guesses that it is because of Robert. They argue about this. Robert tries to call Kelly by radio, but Craig cuts any communication. Upset, Robert loses his temper against Renfield. He receives the visit from Debra London on his yacht. She hides a written letter from Robert. She shows it to her mysterious companion, with whom she views the video of Robert's interview. In Khareef, Eden organises the interview filmed by the Pasha. She makes him change physical appearance by wearing a costume and a tie, to please the American viewers. The Pasha complies. Sophia and Stephen discover that even the video copy of their film has disappeared. Stephen, persuaded that C.C. is at the origin of these disappearances, goes to the Capwell residence to talk with him. Sophia phones the police, who begin their own inquiry. C.C. learns that a fire started at the office of his lawyer, where he had left the original copy of the film. All copies of Journeys were destroyed...

In the scenes in which he appears in a jail of the Sheikh, Cruz is mute and wears a bag on his head. He is probably played by an extra.

Episode 1504

Stephen hears on the radio that a fire burnt all originals of his film. He is devastated. Sophia joins him to try to comfort him. C.C. swears to Mason that he is not responsible for the fire. In Khareef, Eden ended the filming of the interview with the Pasha. The guards find Michael and drive him up to the Pasha. Eden realises he has been released. Michael mediates with Pasha Omar so that he also releases Shaila. She tells Eden that the Pasha wanted her to have Cruz's child. In Santa Barbara, C.C., Mason, Julia and Cassandra discover, dumbfounded, Eden's report on television. Kelly and Craig are joined on the Capwell yacht by Robert. Kelly refuses to speak to him. Robert ends up leaving. Kelly joins Craig on the bridge and asks again to take her back to Santa Barbara...

Episode 1505

Laken must begin comedy scenes with Stephen. Amado decides to accompany her. Augusta keeps Lionel from telling Laken the true reasons of his return to Santa Barbara. She envisages that they will leave the city once they have sold the originals of the painting from C.C.. Stephen lodges a complaint against C.C. for the destruction of his film. Sophia talks with him to ask him to come back. After the television interview of the Pasha in whom he speaks about an American hostage kept by the Sheikh, C.C. and Mason understand that Cruz is not in a private hospital in Ohio, but a prisoner in Khareef. Eden phones her father and asks him not to intervene. Several countries decide to get involved against the Sheikh after the interview. Filled with rage, he gets ready to kill Cruz. But he changes his mind at the last minute. C.C. finally decides to go to Khareef. There, Eden fears that the Sheikh launches into retaliation against Cruz...

In the scenes in which he appears with the Sheikh, Cruz is still mute and wears a bag on his head. He is probably once again played by an extra.

Episode 1506

Mason criticises Robert for having negotiated with Craig the purchase of the property at the seaside from Harland Richard. Debra London joined Robert on his yacht and asks to give her more time for an interview. She then finds her mysterious lover, who passes for her producer. Gina and Phyllis begin putting their plan into action: to exchange C.C.'s pictures with what they think to be copies found in the cellar. Phyllis must undertake the transport of the pictures in suitcases containing Gina's dirty linen. They almost are surprised by Cassandra. On the Capwell yacht, Craig tears Robert's letter and throws it into the ocean. He is reconciled with Kelly and they make love on the bridge. Kelly suddenly finds a piece of the letter, on a life buoy. She recognises Robert's writing...

From this episode, Rosalind Allen replaces Jenny Lester-McLeon in the role of Gretchen Richard.

Episode 1507

Mason finds that his father doubts his capacity to take back the reins of the Capwell Firms. They argue about this. Craig explains to Kelly that the letter written by Robert was addressed to Eden and Cruz. He tells her about the contents, which Robert confesses that he lied to Kelly about the motive of their break-up and that he is in reality in love with her and not Eden. Julia and Mason discover on television that Derek was released from prison by the judge for a lack of evidence. While he is at home with Craig, Ethan is arrested by Vic Boswell to have blackmailed the judge who decided on Derek's release. At the same time, Derek packs his suitcases with Alfred. Cassandra comes to visit him and tells him that she does not intend to keep him in the city. But the police arrive and Derek is once again arrested. Debra hides an envelope in Robert's office. She then goes back to her lover. The man who faces him is the portrait of Robert...

Episode 1508

Laken introduces Amado to her parents. They all have dinner together in the Pacific Bay polo club. Craig criticises Gretchen for having negotiated with him without her husband's knowledge. Mack intervenes and defends Gretchen. Robert asks Craig to let the property at the seaside of Harland Richard by pass them. He knows that an environmental group plans to oppose to any plan of building on these lands, and wants to let C.C. manage it. He puts an end at the same time to their collaboration. Mason invites two of the main shareholders of the Capwell Firms to have dinner in the Capwell residence. He wants to introduce them to his property plan and to prove to them that he is capable of holding the reins of the company. But both men are only speaking about his ejection from the bar and about his failure in the redemption of the ground belonging to Harland Richard. Mason ends nevertheless up imposing himself and earning their confidence. Kelly loses her temper against Robert to have left her on a lie. She refuses to listen to his explanation, and also escapes in Craig's presence...

Episode 1509

After a while on the beach, Laken goes back to her hotel with Amado. Augusta proves to be once again inquisitive and to be arrogant towards him. Amado gets worked up against Augusta and leaves Laken, who does not manage to keep him. He finds Nikki in Bar None and offers for her to go back to Mexico with him, if she does not manage to get an American visa. Lionel discreetly goes to the Capwell villa to begin the exchange of pictures. It is same night which Gina and Phyllis choose to do the same there. Sarita, the servant, suspects a bad deed and accuses Phyllis of stealing some wine in C.C.'s cellar. She locks the door of the cellar, and Lionel, who had hidden from her, finds himself there locked up. Gina exchanges one of the pictures from the living room for one of the originals found in the tunnel, that she believes is a copy. C.C. arrives at Khareef. He joins Eden and Michael at the Pasha's place. To improve his picture to the American public, the Pasha Omar agrees to divorce some of his twelve wives. Cruz manages to get away from the prison of the Sheikh. He finds refuge in a bar where he meets C.C.'s informant. He discovers on the cover of the local newspaper a photo of Eden...

From this episode, Marcia Christie replaces Lynnette Montero in the role of Sarita, the Capwells' maid.
